Saugeen Valley Conservation Foundation The Saugeen Valley Conservation Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 1973 to raise funds for conservation projects of the Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority. The Foundation is represented by approximately 18 Directors, all of which are volunteers and dedicated to the cause and interest of conservation within the watershed.

The Foundation has become increasingly active over the past few years as public funding decreases and as the Conservation Authority attempts to continue with conservation projects and programs which it deems significant to the well-being of the watershed.

The Foundation has established a number of different 'funds' to which individuals can contribute. These funds have been designed to address 'donor's' needs and interests, reflecting major 'conservation' type activities and endeavours that exist across the watershed. The funds are as follows:

Funds - Memorial Grove Fund, wetlands, canoe, fishing, conservation areas and general funds
Events - Maple Syrup Festival, Christmas in the Country, fundraising dinner
Current Projects - Greenock trails, improvements, education and scholarship programs
