Trees available through Saugeen Conservation vary in size and species.

  • Seedlings (1 - 3 years of age)
  • Whips (4-5  years of age)

Seedlings vary from 6-18 inches in size and are 1-3 years old. Common uses of tree seedlings include; windbreaks, shelterbelts, and the reforesting of marginal or fragile lands.

Whips can be as tall as 3 feet to 4 feet in height (depending on the species) and come in a variety of species.

To place an order for trees to plant yourself, please complete the Tree Purchase Form. The minimum seedling order is 100 trees with a minimum of 50 trees/ species. Tree seedlings are reserved on a first come, first serve basis.

Please complete the Tree Planting Form (above), if you wish to order trees and have them planted by the Conservation Authority. Forestry staff will contact you to arrange a site visit to discuss your planting project.
